GOOD FRIDAY – April 15, 2022

THE PASSION OF JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO JOHN with Father Michael Coutts, S.J.

The death of the Lord our God should not be a cause of shame for us; rather, it should be our greatest hope, our greatest glory. In taking upon himself the death that he found in us, he has most faithfully promised to give us life in him, such as we cannot have of ourselves.” – ST. AUGUSTINE

Please join us on Good Friday for this special service based on the Passion of Christ according to the Gospel of John. Fr. Michael Coutts, S.J. will be our guide through the reading of the Passion of our Lord and will lead us in prayer as we prepare for the joy of Easter Sunday.

HOLY SATURDAY – April 16, 2022

THE SORROWFUL MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY with   Father Obinna Ifeanyi, C.S.Sp.

When people say the Rosary together it is far more formidable to the devil than one said privately… [The devil] can often overcome the prayer of an individual, but if this prayer is joined to that of other Christians, [he] has much more trouble in getting the best of it.” – ST. LOUIS DE MONTFORT

On Holy Saturday we invite you to join the Daily TV Mass community to reflect and pray the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary with Father Obinna Ifeanyi, C.S.Sp. The Sorrowful Mysteries combined with the prayers of the Rosary help us to remember that though we may not understand the mystery of suffering, we are assured of God’s compassion and presence in our own struggles. We are never alone.

We would also like to invite you to join Cardinal Thomas Collins for our Easter Sunday Mass as we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord.

These programs will be broadcast across Canada in place of the Daily TV Mass on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. They will also be posted to the Daily TV Mass website and YouTube Channel.
