As we begin this New Year, we do so as a faith community united in prayer, hope, and love. Together, we step forward into 2026 renewed by the grace of Christ and strengthened by our shared commitment to live the Gospel.
January is a sacred time of beginnings – a moment to reflect on where we have been as a community of believers and to entrust all that lies ahead to God’s loving providence.
Fortunately, we are back at Loretto Abbey chapel for a few weeks to start off the year. So enjoy it as construction will restart in the future.
How Can We Live This New Year in Faith?
January calls us not to rushed resolutions, but to quiet commitment – placing God at the center of our lives once again.
Begin with Prayer – Dedicate the year to the Lord. Spend time each day in prayer, asking God to guide your thoughts, words, and actions.
Walk in the Light of Christ – Like the Magi, follow the light God places before you. Seek His truth in Scripture and allow it to shape your daily choices.
Live with Gratitude – Begin each day by thanking God for His blessings, known and unknown, confident that He walks with you.
The Daily TV Mass is truly blessed by the generous gift of our celebrants’ time. Many serve in busy parishes, lead retreats, and carry full schedules, yet they faithfully make themselves present to our community. Their willingness to be with us reflects how deeply they value this shared ministry. Please include them in your daily prayers.
We are grateful to continue praying together through the Daily TV Mass. Your faith, prayers, and support are a constant source of encouragement to our community.
As we journey into 2026, may Christ be your light, your strength, and your hope – today and always.
In Christ’s love,
Deacon Mike Walsh
