A Joyful Start: Pentecost We begin June with the joy of Pentecost, the great feast celebrating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles. This moment marked the birth of the Church — when fearful disciples became bold witnesses to the Gospel. The same Spirit continues to move in our lives today, awakening faith, offering comfort, and giving us strength to live as Christ’s witnesses in the world. Devotion of the Month: The Sacred Heart of Jesus The month of June is traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This devotion reminds us of Christ’s boundless love and mercy. We are invited to honour His heart through: * Prayers and reflections, especially the Litany of the Sacred Heart * First Friday devotions * Acts of charity, in imitation of His compassionate love May this devotion draw each of us deeper into the heart of Jesus, where we find rest, healing, and renewal.
