From the Cross to Hope: Lenten Online Retreat

The 40 Days of Lent Online Retreat invites you to walk prayerfully toward Easter, tracing the Church’s journey from the Cross to Hope. Rooted in Scripture, the rhythm of the liturgical year, and the celebration of the Mass, this daily online retreat helps prepare our hearts for the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Each day throughout Lent, a short reflection is posted online, offering pastoral insight and prayerful accompaniment. Together, we reflect on forgiveness, reconciliation, family life, faith lived on the margins, and the symbols of our Catholic faith — drawing us more deeply into the mystery we celebrate at every Mass: Christ’s self-giving love poured out for the life of the world.

The retreat reaches its sacred centre in the Triduum. On Holy Thursday, we reflect on the gift of the Eucharist and Christ’s commandment of love. On Good Friday, we stand at the Cross through a reflection on the Passion according to the Gospel of John. On Holy Saturday, we keep vigil with the Church, mourning in hope as we await the Resurrection. The journey then finds its fulfillment in the celebration of the Easter Sunday TV Mass, where death is overcome and hope is proclaimed.

Whether you join us for a single day or walk the full forty days, this retreat offers a prayerful companion for Lent, helping us live what we celebrate and move together from the Cross to Hope.
