As we enter the beautiful month of June, the Church invites us to draw close to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the heart that loves us with infinite mercy, compassion, and tenderness.

The image of the Sacred Heart reminds us that Christ’s love is not distant or abstract. His Heart burns with love for each one of us personally – in our joys, struggles, loneliness, grief, and hope. In a world often marked by division and uncertainty, devotion to the Sacred Heart calls us back to trust, peace, and the healing power of God’s love.

PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

O most holy Heart of Jesus,  source of every blessing,

I adore you, I love you, and with sincere sorrow for my sins,

I offer you my humble heart.

Make me gentle, patient, pure, and fully obedient to your will.

Good Jesus, help me to live in you and for you.

Protect me in times of danger.

Comfort me when I am troubled.

Grant me health of body, help in my daily needs,

your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.
