Our Final Gift
Part 1: Our Final Gift – Just before he died, Henri Nouwen began to write of how the last task in life is to give one’s death to others. That is the final lesson we are meant to give the young, to die in such a way that our deaths are our final blessing to them.
Part 2: The Promise of Life Everlasting – The reason we have the choice to make our death a gift to others, is that we have the promise of life everlasting. This promise was fully delivered to us with our Lord’s resurrection on Easter Sunday.
